Answer: It can be hard to find just the

of those people who has a hard time with dropping any hints about what he
wants. You can ask and ask, and he will just simply say, grouchily that he

present for dad, but if he does not tell me what he wants, or even talk

So, when I am looking for birthday presents for dad, I just go and do what
your average British daughter does – I go pick out one of the typical dad
things. I will get my dad a knife, or a razor, a book about war, or most
often of all, some new gadget he can use in his tool shed. He is so
difficult, though. I can never tell quite for sure if my birthday present
for dad is appreciated or merely tolerated. He is sort of bad about
expressing his emotions, and although he will say “thank you,” how deeply
his appreciation goes is kind of hard to gauge. Sometimes I think that my
pop is indifferent to the birthday present I get him. Nonetheless, I still
take pride in finding the best birthday present for dad that I can buy, to
try to give him a good birthday celebration.
Perhaps one the best birthday presents for dad I ever got was a new
fishing rod. We used to go on fishing trips in the lakes once in a while
with my mum and brother when we were kids, but the rods that they had were
all old and worn down, and not really worth anything any more. I got the
birthday present for dad once on a trip together when mum and I went
shopping whilst the boys went fishing. Ever since I got that birthday
present for dad, they have been fishing at least once a month. It really
was a good gift for both of us, and that is the truth. There are many
special birthday presents for men including driving a Ferrari, or a tank
or going for helicopter or plane flights. For something really exciting,
how about white water rafting on Dartmoor?
